May 9th Results...

1st XI Vs Fansfield, took a winning draw this weekend. A stalwart 91 off of 160 balls by John Wakeling was the pick of the Papp batting. He contributed to the final team score of 211-9 off the alloted 50 overs... Farnsfield in reply made a valient effort making 200-6 but came up short by 12 runs after there 50 overs.

2nd XI Vs Ransome & Marles, took all the spoils this weekend to take them to 2nd place in Bassetlaw League 1. Pick of the Papp bowling was from skipper Steve Alford returning figures of 3-22 and with Ransomes making 162-9 off of the 46 overs gave the 2's batters a very realistic target. A Fine 55 by Chris Briggs, 33 by Richard Arberry and 30 not out from Adam Rostance saw them home with 6 overs to spare...

3rd XI Vs Milton 2nd XI, made it 4 losses from 4. Batting 1st Papp made 75 all out with Craig Bond making 26 of them. In reply veteran Neil South struck 5 times to take 5-34 but with such a low total the inevetable came after only 15.4 overs for Milton 2nds take all 20 points.
