JUNIOR PRESENTATION NIGHT














Junior presentation night was enjoyed by all who attended.
Presentations were made to:




All who played or trained in the Kwik cricket sides and the under 13's team awards.





Michael South and James Stokes praised all the Kwik cricket players for their enthusiasm and wished them well, hoping to see them all for hard ball under 11's next season.


Colin Tinker, Club Chairman and Manager of U13's also praised the boys for their effort giving them an enjoyable season and a creditable 3rd place finish in the league.

Under 15 Mansfield and District YCL Cup final














CONGRATULATIONS


Tonight the U15 team won the Mansfield and District league cup final with a convincing 8 wicket win against Mansfield and Pleasley.



Man of the match, Samuel Wells, led the way taking three wickets in his spell of four overs for only 13 runs. Further wickets were taken by Sam Stewart [ 2], Alex Huson [2], and Michael South [1]. There were also 2 run outs by some fine fielding from Sam Straw.



In reply, Papplewick reached the target with the loss of only 2 wickets in less than 12 overs.


Jack McCann led the way with 26, Tom Simpson batted through the innings for 15 not out.


Captain Michael South collected the trophy on behalf of the team.

Thanks to all the people who came to support the boys.
